Soleil Lace Tank
This is the knitting project I’ve been working on all summer. I am a ridiculously slow knitter. Seriously. The tank top has replaced my “road sock” as my traveling project du jour. This is because I would like to actually finish and wear it this summer.
I am knitting this with a no name Ebay purchase that I originally bought (at least 2 or 3 years ago) to make a ChicKami but it didn’t match the gauge and I was to lazy to do the math to make it work.
The pattern for Soleil can be found for free at Knitty

You know, I think I bought some of that very same yarn on ebay & knit a ChicKami from it?? Big cheese-wheel of a center-pull ball? Single ply & biases a smidge? http://files.blog-city.com/files/aa/25845/p/f/nubby_chic_kami.jpg
How ’bout that? :o) Sad thing is, it’s scratchy for my taste. Maybe I should try wearing a tshirt underneath.

That’s a bummer your Kami is scratchy. It looks very nice!
The yarn sounds like the same stuff. It’s a huge wheel of yarn. Why I bought two is beyond me. At least I’m finally making something with it.
