TT For Women Stage 2 Week 4 Day 1

Thursday, July 5th, 2007

Yesterday was the 4th so I did my workout at home. I don’t have a rack or a bench but I do have lots of other equipment. I used a step for the bench press and just picked the bar up off the floor for the Romanian Deadlift.

I woke up at 4 AM yesterday (not by choice). I’m an early riser, but that is a little ridiculous. It happens a couple of times a month. Sam wakes me up and I can’t get back to sleep. So yesterday I got up and finished the installation package for some software I’m writing for a Dr. I’d like to get this project finished so I can get paid! I ate a lite breakfast and drank some coffee and then headed to the basement for the workout.

Around 11 we went over to my in-laws and we all piled in the motor home drove over to Lake Michigan for a picnic. Much junk food was consumed. Actually, it wasn’t too bad, but I could have done better if I really wanted to.

Bill just called me and he scored some great deals today at garage sales…a jogging stroller for $30 and a baby tow thing that hooks behind the bike for $10. We both recently received free bikes so now we can go for rides together.

I brought my stuff to go for a run on my lunch hour, but just found out a friend is up from Texas and we’re going to get together for lunch, so no workout today. I also totally overslept this morning so nothing was done this morning either.

TT For Women Stage 2 Week 4 Day 1

Monday, July 2nd, 2007

I figured I would be sore from Friday’s workout, but I wasn’t really…or so I thought. This morning on the foam roller I realized my ass muscles were in one big knot. After some rolling the tension released and now my glutes are quite sore.

Saturday afternoon we put the little man in his mega-saucer in the shade and stacked up the wood Bill had cut and split during the week. We did about 3 face cords. If we get an outdoor wood furnace we will need quite a bit more to heat with wood exclusively. Bill cut up another 3 or 4 cord that needs to be split yet.
